As Vice Chair of the Human Rights Commission in the City of Charlottesville, Jason has a record of defending civil and human rights and protecting marginalized communities from discrimination, including leading the response to gender-affirming care restrictions and MAGA attacks on vulnerable populations. With a background in organizing in competitive races and having raised over $60,000 for Democrats in the last year alone, he now serves as Legislative and Political Director to Delegate Katrina Callsen—the youngest full-time legislative aide to a member of the Virginia General Assembly—and Political Advisor to Charlottesville Mayor Juandiego Wade and Vice Mayor Brian Pinkston. He also serves as Outreach & Membership Director of the Democratic Latino Organization of Virginia.
